Great people who take care of you. They have one of the few bars in town. And they buy your first one! Or at least at the moment. My room smelled musty so they offered me a new room and a extra beer! Again great people.
I stayed here for close to a week for work in early June of 2016, and it was ok. The rooms were comfortable and cool and clean, as was the hotel. I think it's fairly new. It's kinda well located for Big Lake, being next to a big truck stop/travel center with a Taco Bell, so convenient for food and fuel. However, the "Free High Speed Internet", is abysmal. I got speeds of under 1mbps almost all the time, and it slowed down even more in the evenings when everyone staying there was on it. Also, the security doors for the hallways weren't working, so there was no preventing anyone from walking in the hotel after hours. Lastly, the included hot breakfast was pretty poor. They had one hot pan and a waffle maker for hot food, which might as well be called just continental.
Very nice rooms and amazing staff !!!! Will definitely stay here again !! I have never seen such a clean hotel ! Sweeping and mopping daily......
Great place to stay. Excellent staff, very clean and it also has a really cool bar downstairs. Slept like a baby. ;)
Our room tv not working, a light out in our room , when call staff the two girls working the hotel that night was house keeping ,no manager, no front desk , breakfast was empty and their was 10 guys drink beer at 7am in lobby with staff .
However, for Big Lake, there aren't very many options, and this is probably the best of all of them, at least until the new hotel across the road is finished.
Side note there is not much in that town.
